this is the poster for the film Drive:

• the film follows most crime film posters as there is a dark background with the white title, this is a convention that most crime films will follow.
• A quote from a critic at the top of the film which really compliments the film.
• the neon pink titles and the clothing on the Ryan Gosling is very retro which perhaps tells the audience when the film is set.
• the is a slogan underneath the title which is very short and punchy, and memorable.
• awards it has won at the cannes film festival, the film festival is a very prestigious event.
• Ryan Gosling is clearly the unique selling point of this film as he is the only figure on the poster his name is also the onlyone there as well.
